Somewhere after the summer of 2016, after I made a little piano arrangement of the Dirty Love intro, I found it’d be a good idea to do the whole song. And then I thought: ‘Hey, why not do a whole album?’ The idea for The Poodle Magic Pig Type was born. The intro did not make it to the album, however. It starts off with a soundscape by Herrie Friend, followed by a little story I wrote, charmingly read by the illustrious Mark Watson. Craig ‘Twister’ Steward we all know for his amazing harmonica playing for Frank Zappa (Joe’s Garage, Man From Utopia and You Are What You Is). On this ditty, he takes care of the two guitar solos.
