about

Recorded live in The Yellow Hippo Studios, between March and June, 2021.

"Tovarishchi is portrait of unhappy times. Times of war and devastation. It’s a mirror of time, and life, with (and in) all it’s aspects. Hurtful. Lonely. Afraid. And sad.

At times hopeful, yet nothing to look forward to anymore. It's the small moments of happiness that become so important and fierce in such times of suffering and despair. With the music on Tovarishchi, I tried to capture those little sparks of hope. Tovarishchi. Comrades. Friends.

What is the joy and adds that happiness to life?"
